With a head full of ideas and an eye for detail, you’ll be a natural digital first artist with a love for imagery, typography creative copy and a thirst for quality. The ability to hold autonomy, communicate concepts, digest briefs and bring to life ideas for non-designers in an articulate manner is key to the success of this role.

This is a perfect role for a new creative or a creative looking to take the next step in their career to drive meaningful ideas that support and drive real business growth.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Work within the marketing team to create visuals for organic social media posts, paid social ads, digital collateral, and website content.
  • Design engaging and innovative creatives for learndirect and its brands, including SmileWisdom, i-to-i, Animal Courses Direct, LEAP Academy, and The Training Room.
  • Deliver high-quality designs on an ad hoc basis with quick turnarounds to meet the needs of a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Immerse yourself in brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all mediums and campaigns.
  • Produce a variety of design styles, including static carousels, motion graphics, and multimedia designs tailored to diverse platforms and audiences.
  • Apply an understanding of online user behaviour to ensure designs are optimised for an intuitive and impactful user experience.
  • Support on ad hoc UX projects.
  • Liaise effectively with the wider business and key stakeholders to align designs with business objectives.

    • Salary range is £30,000 to £34,000 per annum, depending on experience.

    What we are looking for in you:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Designer, working in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Canva.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating static and motion design capabilities.
  • Ability to design for multiple brands while maintaining consistency.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and how content is consumed online.
  • Quick, creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Autonomous, accountable personality (essential)

  • Being able to work independently, with support of the wider marketing team (essential)
  • UX experience (desirable)
  • Graphic design or equivalent degree or qualification (desirable)
  • Passionate about staying ahead of design trends (desirable)

  • If your task meets the brief and standard we require, you will then be invited to an online interview in which we will discuss the role and your experience further.
  • Post-interview, the business will review all candidates and provide an outcome.
