You’ll be asked before the live session to complete a short preparation task. This includes giving feedback on a short video clip that you’ll be provided with of an online lesson, reviewing some teaching resources and planning a short lesson on a choice of topics. In your live online class, you will discuss your task with your tutor and your fellow tutees.
Online Teaching Practice - Webinar with an Experienced Tutor
In your online class, you’ll have a highly qualified TEFL tutor to soak up knowledge from. With up to ten tutees attending in total, you'll discuss everyone’s preparation task and then take turns practising your online teaching skills. There will also be an invaluable and informal Q&A session with your tutor – so you can ask any questions you may have.
Online Teaching Practice - Live Online Teaching Practice
During the session, you and your fellow tutees will get that all-important teaching practice. Using the lesson plan, that you’ll have created as part of your preparation task, you'll deliver a short lesson and receive actionable and instant feedback from your tutor. Online Teaching Practice Post-Webinar Reflection Task
After the session, you will have a reflection task provided to you so you can review your feedback and set yourself some achievable goals to improve your teaching.

Minimum Age restriction
16+ but to work in TEFL you generally need to be 18+
Average completion timeframe
12-20 weeks, plus 4 hour session
Assessment requirements
You will be assessed on 7 assignments submitted online - generally lesson plans with supporting evidence.

Learners will need a desktop PC or a laptop to complete the course. iPads and/or mobile phones are not suitable. Learners will also need to have Zoom installed for the Online Teaching Practice Session.
Certification Timeframe
Learners can expect to receive their eCertificate within 4 weeks of passing their course. Printed certificates are ordered separately (fees apply) and are delivered within 2 months of being ordered.
Course Fees
