About the Qualitative Research Methodology Course
There are two main types of research – qualitative and quantitative. Whilst quantitative research focuses on collecting numerical figures, qualitative centres on motivation, reasoning and opinion. Qualitative research is important as it forms a basis for further quantitative studies. There are many ways of conducting qualitative research and this course will teach you all you need to know.
This distance learning course is spread out over a number of engaging modules. These units address a number of different approaches to qualitative research methods. Students will learn everything from how to collect and analyse qualitative data, to how to interpret this information and formulate reports. They will also learn how to write a research proposal for qualitative design.

Entry Requirements
There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.
All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.

Assessment Method
After each lesson there will be a question paper, which needs to be completed and submitted to your personal tutor for marking. This method of continual assessment ensures that your personal tutor can consistently monitor your progress and provide you with assistance throughout the duration of the course.
On successful completion of your course you will receive the learndirect Certificate of Completion of Training in Qualitative Research Methodology.
Your course certificate will also state the number of CPD points/hours the course is eligible for.
