About Your Online Degree Pathway

This undergraduate online degree pathway in psychology is made up of 240 credits and is designed as an online alternative to completing Year 1 and Year 2 at university. Studying with us will fast-track you to the final year of an associated bachelor’s degree, which can be completed online at a partnered university.

The course is delivered online, through an engaging array of online learning materials. So, you will find your education both interesting and rewarding. As a self-paced online course, you can also work towards your qualification without pressure, around your existing commitments.

What Will You Learn?

You’ll be introduced to a wide range of historical and contemporary approaches to psychology. This includes exploring areas such as biopsychology, social and developmental psychology, attachment theories, human memory processes, and contemporary research and investigation methods.

Building upon the knowledge gained in Year 1, in Year 2 you can specialise and progress in various relevant subject areas. This focuses on how our understanding of psychology is applied in today's world, delving into topics such as mental health and psychopathology, cognitive psychology, visual perception, and the diversity of addiction.

You’ll also explore pro and anti-social behaviour, as well as individual differences relating to criminology, intelligence, and personality. The course will also cover contemporary debates and issues within the field of psychology.

University Progression

Upon successful completion of Year 1 and Year 2 with us, you will be guaranteed an admissions letter to complete Year 3 of your undergraduate degree at a selected university.

Want a complete online degree pathway experience? Year 3 can also be studied online at home. This will cost you just £5,000*, which is paid separately to the university.

Entry Requirements

You’ll need to possess an appropriate level of English.

For individuals whose first language is not English, we recommend the following English language proficiency standards or an approved equivalent for this qualification:

IELTS: A score of 6 or higher

• Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR): Achieving at least B2 level
• Cambridge English Advanced (CAE): Scoring 162 or above
• Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Achieving a score between 42-49

There are no exams included in this study programme, instead, you will complete several written assignments.

Course Fees

There are no exams included in this online degree pathway, instead you will complete several assignments that we have designed and built with Qualifi and our university partners.

These assignments consist of a range of different tasks that can be completed from home and then submitted online through your learning platform. These include:

You will have support from a tutor throughout and will also receive additional guidance in terms of researching, planning, and drafting your work.
