About Your Course
Studying for a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care means you are ready to stand out to employers in the care profession and develop strong care skills and knowledge. Entry Requirements
Learners will need to produce full and articulate answers to questions - as this is a Level 3 qualification, learners will need to have a good standard of written and verbal communication skills (written skills, for example, would need to be at Level 2+).
Minimum age restriction
Learners must be age 16+ to enrol.
Average completion timeframe
You have 24 months to complete your course.
Assessment requirements
You will be assesed through a combination of observations, case studies, witness statements, written questions, and discussions.
Placement or Practical required
Learners must be working in a care environment (whether that is employed, or they are on a temporary placement), and they must have a supervisor or manager who can verify their work when necessary (as per the criteria). Please note: The term verify does not mean the same as 'signing work off' - it is someone who can confirm that the learner did what they are saying they did. Our assessor will make the judgement as to whether the work submitted meets the criteria. If on a placement it must be for at least 50 hours, over a period of time in their studies.

Learners should be asked if they have a Placement agreed. They will need to upload this in assignment 1.
