About your Certificate

Suicide and self-harm prevention is a worthwhile and important initiative, and you can educate yourself in this area by learning how to recognise the signs in individuals and how to provide appropriate support.

Our Level 2 Certificate in Self-Harm and Suicide Awareness and Prevention (RQF) is an online course that delves into a range of essential topics, including the impact that suicide has on loved ones.

Spot the Signs in Your Workplace

Essentially, any profession that involves working closely with others or looking after vulnerable individuals will benefit from understanding the signs of self-harm and suicide, as well as the prevention of such.

If you work in management, teaching, health and social care, counselling, and more, studying our online course will give you the tools you need to spot the signs and support those who need it.

Help Combat the Rise of Self-Harm and Suicide

115 people in the UK die by suicide every week, according to ONS, while NHS Digital states that 1 in 14 people self-harm. By educating yourself on the realities of these issues, you can play a part in preventing individuals from taking such actions.

Not only will this course teach you how to notice the signs, but it will also cover ways in which to encourage individuals to engage in conversation about these uncomfortable topics.
