IGCSE Human Biology – including exams
Human Biology is the study of the structure and function of the human body, looking at how the human species evolved, how we change over our lifespan, how we adapt to life stressors, and how our bodies are influenced by food, nutrition, disease, and environmental factors.
But for everything we know, there’s much more to discover, such as immunology and evolution.
This course will develop your knowledge of human biology, focusing on the medical aspects of human processes, examining how the human species evolved, how we change over our lifespan, and how external factors affect us. You learn about the physiology of the body's major systems, the impact of nutrition and the environment on health, and human development and evolution.
