Essential Bookkeeping
Essential Bookkeeping
About the Essential Bookkeeping Certificate
To put it simply, book keepers are in charge of keeping the books. By this, we mean that they are responsible for recording financial transactions for a business or organisation. Bookkeeping is the first step of the accounting process, and often bookkeepers will assist in preparing work for the accountants. Accountants will then interpret, analyse and report on the information.
This distance learning course has been designed to help you develop as a bookkeeper. The course itself aims to help students define industry specific language and understand the bookkeeping basics. During their time at learndirect, individuals will learn about subjects such as: VAT calculations, cashbooks, wages and salaries and credit control.
