About the Conservation Certificate
As the earth's population increases, the human race is using more and more materials. This is why conservation is more important than ever. In order to protect the planet and limit the damage we are causing to the environment, we must learn to preserve our resources. The Conservation certificate aims to equip students with the awareness, knowledge and skills they need to make positive change in the world.
During the course of their studies, students will undertake eight separate modules. Each unit outlines a different factor affecting the environment and summarises ways to combat environmental damage. Students will cover topics such as deforestation, pollution, water and soil, fisheries management and marine conservation.
