This distance learning course has been designed with aspiring travel professionals in mind. Learn online from the comfort of your own home and discover everything there is to know about the travel industry. The distance learning course itself begins by outlining important travel terminology and offering a brief history of the travel and tourism industry. Students will also learn about world geography, air travel, package holidays and travel related technology during the course of the qualification. This certificate will take approximately 45 hours of home study to complete, however at learndirect, we want you to take all the time you need.

As with all our home study courses, there are no set entry requirements for this course. All we ask is that you have a keen interest in travel and the ability to motivate yourself to engage in a period of home study.

What happens after the course?

Upon successful completion of this course, students will have expanded their knowledge of the travel industry and stretched the limits of their geographical understanding. They will feel confident using travel terminology and offering travel advice.

Some students may choose to move on to further study. There are plenty of related distance learning or higher education courses available. For example, some students may be interested in studying towards our Airline Cabin Crew Course.

• Personal Development Skills which includes customer service and selling

On completion, a validation is sat and a certificate awarded to all passes.

Entry Requirements

There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.

All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.

*You will have access to the course for 24 months.

On successful completion of your course you will receive the learndirect Certificate of Completion of Training in Check into Travel.

Your course certificate will also state the number of CPD points/hours the course is eligible for.
